The European Championship race between the national Dragon Boat teams scheduled to take place in Kyiv in 2020, has been postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision was made on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, during an online EDBF Executive and Committee meeting with the organizers of the competition and representatives of the international federation.

We have come a long way in bet for the European National Teams Championship to be held in Kyiv in 2020 - selected and defended at European Congresses and meetings, received support from the specialized ministry and Kyiv City State Administration, formed an organizing committee and a strong represented team.
At the moment, I can say with confidence that much work has already been done in terms of organization, but there is still more to come. It won't be easy.
